There’s really no easy way to say this: Professor Farnsworth is about to have turtle sex. You see, in “Naturama,” the season 7 finale of Futurama (Comedy Central, Wednesday, 10:30 p.m.), the old guy has been reborn as a Galapagos tortoise whose species is on the precipice of extinction. To ensure that his kind will live on, he must embark on an arduous 100-foot journey to find the lone surviving female of his species and engage in a little loving.

He’s not the only crew member reimagined as an animal, though. Salmon Fry hopes to book some spawn time with Salmon Leela, but first he must triumph over numerous water-based obstacles, including Salmon Zapp Brannigan. Meanwhile, Seal Bender, a.k.a. the Beachmaster, will be challenged by a “beta male” in the form of Seal Kif, who has his eye on Bender’s harem of females.

We wouldn’t be doing our job right if we didn’t sneak you a peek of the Professor’s attempt to continue his species, which you will find below, disturbing moaning and all. As a bonus, you can check out Fry and Leela’s meet-cute under the sea.

On Wednesday, at 10 p.m. Futurama will air its penultimate episode of the season, in which Bender embarks on an ill-fated fox hunting expedition with the Huntmaster (voiced by Patrick Stewart).
