When Skyfall director Sam Mendes recently took a break from editing the 23rd official Bond movie to chat with EW the filmmaker admitted to being a tad tired. Or, as he put it himself, “I’m f—-ked.”

Watching the new Skyfall video blog, which tracks the filming of the film’s car-chase-and-shoot-’em-up opening sequence in Turkey, it is easy to see why the helming a 007 adventure might tucker a man out.

Bond fans will find out if Mendes’ efforts were worthwhile when the film — which stars Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Albert Finney, and, of course, Daniel Craig, amongst others — opens here on November 9. Meanwhile, you can check out both the video blog and the Skyfall trailer below.
