Ed Sheeran

(Dan Curwin)

Breakout British folkie/T-Swift’s favorite ginger duet partner Ed Sheeran is bringing his A Team to the U.S. with his biggest headlining tour to date.

The 18-city trek kicks off on Jan. 17 at the House of Blues in Houston, and includes stops at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall and the Hollywood Palladium. Sheeran’s current road trip—VH1’s You Oughta Know Tour, which continues through mid-October—is already fully sold out, with many shows being moved to larger venues.

Sheeran will also appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Oct. 4 to perform his current single, “The A Team,” currently climbing the charts (it also has more than 43 million views on YouTube).

Fans will get even more of Sheeran when Taylor Swift’s new album, Red, arrives Oct. 22.

But for now, check out this exclusive video of Sheeran performing his percussive “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You” live at London’s Shepard’s Bush Empire, and find the tour’s full itinerary after the jump:
