No doubt many moms will get a kick out of New Yorker humorist Ian Frazier’s new first novel, The Cursing Mommy’s Book of Days, which revolves around one easily-frustrated married mother of two boys as she tries to deliver a sort of how-to guide for accomplishing various tasks around the home. But the real surprise is the fun of listening to Cynthia Nixon voice the audiobook version. Any doubt about how well the Tony, Emmy, and Grammy award-winning actress can accomplish the necessary modulated-to-frothing-at-the-mouth tone is erased after listening to our exclusive clip after the jump.  It’ll remind you of Miranda’s better rants on Sex and the City.

Seriously though, don’t listen to the clip if you’re easily offended by foul language. It is called The Cursing Mommy after all. But it’s like she’s reading my mind, guys!
