Happy Spirit Day! Celebs celebrate anti-bullying event by wearing purple

They’ve got spirit, yes they do! They’ve got spirit – how ‘bout you?

No, this isn’t a pre-Halloween ghost celebration. Today, tons of lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender folk and their allies are wearing purple in honor of Spirit Day, a GLAAD anti-bullying initiative. Naturally, a passel of celebrities are following suit on Twitter – or at least tweeting their support of the occasion. Here’s a roundup of some of the famous faces participating in the festivities:
