You can’t flip on a TV these days without encountering some sort of showdown between singers, but a beautiful voice inside of our head tells us that you won’t want to miss tonight’s episode of The Office, featuring guest star Stephen Colbert.

When Andy (Ed Helms) hires his college a cappella group, Here Comes Treble, to perform at the office Halloween party, former a cappella mate/backstabbing nemesis Broccoli Rob (Colbert of The Colbert Report fame) winds up crashing the festivities via Skype, stirring up this rivalry once again. Several notes from the oeuvre of George Michael (see: Andy’s outfit) are exchanged before Broccoli Rob challenges Andy to a singing contest to determine who is the real Boner Champ. Let’s just say that Broccoli Rob is extremely proud of his pipes, and has an endorsement by a prominent member of the jam band community. Click on the preview video below to see some strong performances of the non-musical kind by the two geeks.

The Halloween-themed episode airs at 9 p.m. on NBC.
