Sony has pushed back the release date of Kathryn Bigelow’s terrorist-huntin’ docudrama Zero Dark Thirty. Previously scheduled for wide release on Dec. 19, the film will now hit theaters on Jan. 11. The film will still play in New York and Los Angeles starting Dec. 19 as part of an Oscar-qualifying run, but it will now avoid a crowded holiday release schedule, including Les Miserables, Django Unchained, and the vaguely-similar-if-you-replace-“bin Laden”-with-“dragon” The Hobbit.
