You know that NBC comedy Guys with Kids, the one we didn’t have high hopes for in our Death Watch columns?

Seems the network has a little more faith in it than we do. NBC just ordered four more episodes of the comedy, bringing its total season order to 17.

There was some hope that the return of Whitney last night would help to boost Guys, a comedy from Jimmy Fallon that stars Anthony Anderson, Jesse Bradford, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Tempestt Bledsoe. But Whitney only averaged 4.2 million and a 1.4 among adults 18-49 while Guys dropped to a 3.8 million, 1.3 million — down from its last original. Guys used to build on its lead-in when Animal Practice was slotted before it. But the show’s been cancelled.
