Warner Bros. signs 20-picture deal with IMAX

Warner Bros. has agreed to a deal promising to release up to 20 upcoming films in IMAX over the next three years. “Together with IMAX and our exhibitor partners, we have built a unique, incremental distribution platform over the last 10 years,” said Warner Bros. president Dan Fellman. “We are excited to continue this tradition and offer these films to audiences in the most premium of moviegoing experiences.”

In 2013, Warner Bros. is poised to unveil Jack the Giant Slayer (March 1); Man of Steel (June 14); Pacific Rim (July 12); 300: Rise of an Empire (Aug. 2); Gravity; Seventh Son (Oct. 18); and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (Dec. 13).
