CBS’ 2 Broke Girls improved in the ratings Monday night thanks to CBS yanking a new comedy off its schedule.
With Partners gone, the network plugged a Two and a Half Men repeat into its 8:30 p.m. slot instead. The Ashton Kutcher sitcom performed slightly better than Partners, which in turn boosted 9 p.m.’s 2 Broke Girls (9.7 million viewers and a 3.4 rating among adults 18-49), up 6 percent from last week.
Meanwhile, has NBC’s Revolution found its ratings floor? The action-drama was steady this week despite its lead-in from The Voice slipping.
Revolution had 7 million viewers and a 2.6 among adults 18-49, same as last week, while The Voice delivered 10.5 million and a 3.7 in the demo, down 16 percent to a Monday low this season. Still, that was enough for The Voice to win the night in the demo, putting NBC in first place. (If you wondered how Revolution got the rights to two classic Led Zeppelin songs for last night’s hour, that story is here).
Also last night: ABC’s Dancing With the Stars was up 10 percent, Castle was up 5 percent. Fox’s Bones and The Mob Doctor were up 5 and 13 percent, respectively. The CW’s Gossip Girl fell a tenth.
