Genevieve Sabourin, the woman accused of stalking Alec Baldwin, has been re-arrested in New York. The Canadian actress was locked up on Tuesday following a routine court appearance. Authorities declined to comment on why she was taken into custody, but the arrest is believed to be related to recent media reports that she had posted angry tweets about the 30 Rock actor’s new wife, Hilaria Thomas.”Why am I being arrested?” she asked as she was taken away.
Sabourin met Baldwin on the set of The Adventures of Pluto Nash. She was previously arrested in April on charges of aggravated harassment and stalking at the actor’s apartment in downtown Manhattan. Defense attorney Rick Pasacreta confirmed reports that his client had been arrested once again, but added that he had yet to be informed of any new charges. Sabourin is due back in court today.
