Did Ke$ha just produce her generation’s “1979” video?

No, no she didn’t, but the singer’s new clip for “C’mon” shares some of the basic DNA of that classic Smashing Pumpkins video. Directed by Darren Craig, the video finds Ke$ha jumping into a van with a gang of costumed ne’er-do-wells (and/or fetishists) who run around town causing low-grade trouble. Convenient stores are trashed, cops are disrespected, and general recklessness is achieved.
