The Office spin-off featuring Rainn Wilson’s Dwight Schrute has been shelved, but some notable Dunder Mifflin alumni could wind up working together on NBC next season: The network has ordered a pilot from executive producer Greg Daniels and star Craig Robinson.

The untitled single-camera comedy, which Daniels will executive produce, revolves around a musician-turned-middle school music teacher (Robinson) who is learning how to handle “precocious kids, teacher politics, and the temptations of single moms,” according to NBC. Office supervising producer Owen Ellickson will write the pilot and serve as an executive producer. Robinson also will be a producer on the prospective series.

Last week, the network also gave a green light to another Daniels comedy pilot, that one about a group of twentysomething friends and their dating adventures.
