Celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann’s latest collaboration — a Girls-inspired, four-color collection — wasn’t her first pop culture venture, and it certainly won’t be her last.

For now, Lippmann remains tight-lipped on her next project. In the meantime, we asked her to name the one celebrity she’s dying to work with.

“I was thinking, ‘Who would challenge me the most?’ Not that I’m not challenged with every thing I do because, trust me, I am. But there’s one person on my list, and that’s Barbra Streisand,” Lippmann confesses.

“I’m her biggest fan, but I don’t think I would ever want to do her nails. She’s so meticulous, and she’s so known for her nails. I bet that would be the most challenging, most thrilling, and probably make-me-not-ever-sleep-again collaboration.”

One thing’s for sure, If Lippmann does ever partner with the Funny Girl, she’ll have quite the repertoire of shade names to choose from. Lippmann’s nail colors are always named after songs. Anyone else see potential for a Babs-inspired “Evergreen?”
