The Discovery Channel has issued a statement on a Sunday morning helicopter crash that killed three crew members who were working on an untitled reality series for the network.

“A production company was shooting a show for Discovery Channel when this tragic accident occurred. We are all cooperating fully with authorities. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families,” the network said in a statement.

The crash, which is under investigation, according to reports, occurred in the early morning hours at the at the Polsa Rosa Movie Ranch in Acton, Calif. and claimed three lives.

The show’s production company, Eyeworks, also issued a statement on its site, saying, “We share in our affiliates sympathies for the families and others who are now dealing with this tragedy and send them our warmest regards.”
