Amanda Palmer's cinematic new video for 'The Bed Song' -- EXCLUSIVE

(Shervin Lainez)

Who needs cards or drug-store chocolates when you have a conceptual Valentine’s Day treat courtesy of Amanda Palmer?

The former Dresden Doll and current Kickstarter queen has released a new music video for a track called “The Bed Song” from her 2012 album Theatre Is Evil, and you can watch it exclusively here. The Michael McQuilken-directed clip, officially presented by Palmer and her Grand Theft Orchestra,  is a seven-minute long drama that chronicles the life (and afterlife) of a couple. It was filmed on location at Bard College, so, suffice it to say, it’s on the arty side.
