Kathleen Kennedy’s tenure as president of LucasFilm has been quite eventful, between the whole Disney purchase and the Abrams-powered sequel trilogy and the sundry spinoffs. She’s a busy person. Which means that there’s another beloved science-fiction franchise whose reboot she will not be presiding over. EW has confirmed that Kennedy will not be involved in 2013’s Jurassic Park IV, after Kennedy’s producing partner/husband Frank Marshall tweeted the news over the weekend.

@jackdelamare No, Ms. Kennedy has moved onto Star Wars and will not be producing JP4. She’s traded raptors for TIE fighters.

Marshall also tweeted that there is no director attached to Jurassic Park IV yet. Just for fun, let’s say combine all the directors who are rumored to be attached to everything, and say the job has come down to Zack Snyder, Guillermo Del Toro, and Matthew Vaughn. But, like, they’ve been grafted together by modern science into the perfect directorial rumor. So Jurassic Park IV will be directed by Snyder Del Torvaughn.
