If iPhones weren’t everywhere I turned, I’d think it’s actually 1995.

First, all five Backstreet Boys reunite, then Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees, and New Kids on the Block go on tour. Before I can turn around, LL Cool J is rapping at the Grammy’s, and now I hear that it isn’t completely crazy to think Oscar-nominated Mark Wahlberg could once again send around some “Good Vibrations” as the Grammy-nominated Marky Mark.

After years of building up his acting cred and even claiming that “Marky Mark” is his least favorite word on an episode of Inside the Actors Studio, Mark Wahlberg has been quoted talking about a potential Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch reunion.

The Huffington Post reports that Wahlberg told Heat Magazine, “Well, the Funky Bunch wants to get back out there, too. I’ve just got to find the right time. We might, though.”

Based on all of the recent 90’s comebacks, Wahlberg used the word “lucrative” to describe the potential for Marky Mark and the gang to get back together. Wahlberg’s reps had no comment.

Hey, as long as his return to music is accompanied by his return to Calvin Klein ads and general shirtlessness, count me in.
