No announcements of an announcement for her. Last night, Queen Bey (rather unceremoniously) debuted new music via SoundCloud and Instagram.

Check out “Bow Down” and “I Been On” below.

The predominant reaction to her new material been confusion, and it’s hard to disagree. The Hit-Boy-produced “Bow Down” is decent enough, but Bey seems to be attacking straw women a generation behind her who dismiss her as little more than Jay-Z’s wife. (Seriously, does anybody actually think that?)”I Been On” sounds more like an interlude than anything.

What do you think of “Bow Down” and “I Been On”? What do you think it portends for the new Beyoncé album? What do you think Morrissey thinks? Sound off in the comments.
