The Cannes Film Festival has unveiled the poster for its 66th festival, which kicks off in May, and America-philes will be happy to learn that it features a photograph of Paul Newman and wife Joanne Woodward from A New Kind of Love front-and-center.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, organizers said the poster’s release is meant to recognize Newman’s legacy and its “undying admiration for Woodward, his wife and most favored co-star.” What’s more, the poster gets points for snazziness and romanticism — though it continues to be a curiosity that Europe’s biggest film festival still has the biggest crush on the biggest American celebrities of the middle part of last century.
