Disney’s nature film label is bugging out with Wings of Life, a new documentary that takes a closer look at things that fly — including butterflies, hummingbirds, bats, and bees. The film, currently in an exclusive, week-long theatrical engagement at the Mann Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and shortly in home release, is also narrated by a woman who may well be capable of flight herself: multiple Oscar winner Meryl Streep.

Get a taste of the flighty flick’s breathtaking visuals — courtesy of high-def cameras capable of capturing up to 1500 frames per second — in this exclusive featurette with director (and award-winning cinematographer) Louie Schwartzberg. You won’t even be tempted to swat your screen:

Wings of Life will be released on Blu-Ray, Digital and On Demand April 16 — just in time for Earth Day (April 22).
