NBC will preempt tonight’s episode of Revolution to provide additional coverage of the tragic Boston Marathon explosions.

Brian Williams will anchor a prime-time NBC News special that will air at 10 p.m. ET and 7 p.m. PT. Between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., NBC still plans to air The Voice. (West Coast stations will have the option of repeating The Voice at 10 p.m., or air their own programming).

The other broadcast network plans are not entirely clear yet. Fox will air its regular programming. As of about 30 minutes ago, CBS and ABC were still going ahead with their usual prime-time schedule, though that might change.
