Is sweat comin’ out your pores yet?

Here’s some news that’s good like Sunkist: Important Actor Mark Wahlberg – a.k.a. Marky Mark, shirtless Bush I-era heartthrob – has indicated to TMZ that he’d be willing to reunite with his ’90s hip-hop group The Funky Bunch – a.k.a. Scottie Gee, DJ-T, Ashey Ace, and, most importantly, Hector the Booty Inspector – for a fundraiser benefiting the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Okay, so it’s not like Wahlberg actually said he’d participate in a hypothetical reunion show. As you can see from the video below, a TMZ reporter shouted this question at the Oscar nominee as he was leaving an event at a Virginia high school today. In response, Wahlberg simply corrected the reporter for calling his old group “the Fun Bunch,” then gave a noncommittal “Why not?”

Either way, we’re happy any time someone reminds us that super-serious Wahlberg once posed as a shirtless “Boy Toy” on the cover of Entertainment Weekly – and if this reunion ever actually happens, you know we’ll be standing in the first row, lip-synching to “Good Vibrations” like nobody’s business. In fact, why wait?
