Nothing can stop Nikita.
The CW has renewed the low-rated Friday night drama for a fourth season.
The perpetual underdog was renewed Thursday along with freshman drama The Carrie Diaries. The decision came on the heels of The CW ordering four new dramas, three of which were sci-fi shows and one is a historical soap.
Nikita will hold a dubious honor with this pickup: Averaging only 1.3 million viewers and a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49, it’s the lowest-rated broadcast show to get a renewal this year. In fact, it’s very likely the lowest-rated renewed broadcast drama ever. But, if you’re a fan, who cares? Time to celebrate!
Here’s the current list of picked-up pilots.
