Team Jessica Simpson wins!

For the final challenge, Daniel (Team Nicole), Hunter (Team Jessica) and Cassandra (Team John) each created a spring capsule collection. After sending their creations down the runway, the designers nervously held hands while the buyers deliberated. Finally, New York City-based designer Hunter Bell was declared the winner.

Bell’s grand prize is a $3 million collection deal — down from $6 million in season 1, but still nothing to turn your nose up at — with Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Express.

”[Hunter’s] attention to detail is incredible. I think the quality of what [she] managed to create in the time frame was astounding,” Fashion Star host Louise Roe told EW. “I think no matter which state, or even country you live in, as a woman, [Hunter] makes clothes that flatter and fit, which is key. It’s not about being able to do a runway trend or some celebrity, it’s actually about fitting your own body.”
