It was double trouble for the final four on All-Star Celebrity Apprentice tonight as two celebs were fired. But they didn’t even get to take part in the usual phony job interview. Instead they were summoned back to the Boardroom to be disposed of by Donald Trump without taking part in any sort of task. My full recap will be up at 2 a.m. (UPDATE: Click to read Dalton’s full Celebrity Apprentice recap), but to find out, or sound off on, who was fired and who’s left in the final two, read on for more. [SPOILER ALERT: Keep reading only if you have already watched Sunday’s episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.]
Lisa Rinna and Lil Jon were both fired by Trump at the start of tonight’s episode, leaving us with the final two many predicted when the season began: Trace “Grumpy Pants” Adkins vs. Penn Jillette. The battle of the ponytails commenced when the two were tasked with designing an ice cream flavor and accompanying commercial and VIP party for Walgreens. But they wouldn’t do it alone. Trace was given the support group of Lil Jon, Marilu Henner, and a mechanical dog, while Penn received the assistance of Lisa Rinna, La Toya Jackson, and Dennis Rodman…that is, if you consider La Toya and Dennis to be a form of assistance.
Before the episode was over we would be introduced to the word “swurltle,” Wayne Newton would weigh the importance of supporting his own charity on a national TV show against appearing at a parade in Phoenix, Gary Busey would accuse another woman of farting, Dennis Rodman would be instructed to lay down between a Vegas showgirl’s legs, and Penn and Lisa would debate the merits of including a giant bedazzled crotch hovering over their glass full of ice cream. So all in all, pretty much what you’d expect from an episode of everybody’s favorite crazy reality show.
My full recap will be up at 2 a.m. but you can sound off right here and right now. Are you happy with the final two? Who got the better team? And who should and will win in next week’s finale? Hit the message boards to let us know, and for more reality ramblings, follow me on Twitter @DaltonRoss.
