Little, Brown and Company has acquired the English language rights for the release of a new memoir from John McEnroe. Former world champion tennis player and current television commentator, McEnroe is known for his prowess on the court as well as his larger-than-life personality. He ranked World No. 1 in singles tennis from 1981 to 1984. Now, he is a permanent fixture throughout US Open and Wimbledon analysis. The memoir will serve as McEnroe’s second memoir following You Cannot Be Serious, which hit shelves in 2002.

In a press release, McEnroe stated, “I am seriously looking forward to working on my second memoir and excited about the opportunity to tell the rest of my story.” The as yet untitled memoir is scheduled to be released September 2014.
