Actress Natalie Zea and her boyfriend Travis Schuldt are newly engaged.

The couple met while co-starring on the NBC daytime soap opera Passions. Schuldt, 38, popped the question in Kauai, Hawaii, after 10 years of dating. “He wanted to make sure he gave the car a thorough test drive before he bought it,” Zea joked to People.

Since the run of Passions (1999-2007), Zea, 38, has gone on to roles in the FX police drama The Shield, HBO’s Hung, and the comedy film The Other Guys. In her most recent role, she plays Dr. Claire Matthews, the wife of a serial killer, in the Fox drama series The Following.

Schuldt played the recurring role of Keith Dudemeister on Scrubs from 2006 to 2009. He has also guest-starred in hit TV comedies such as The Big Bang Theory, Community, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
