Over the last few years, you’ve told us in hundreds of article comments, at in-depth focus groups, and in multiple usability lab sessions that while you loved our journalism – our home page could be better.
The feedback we heard from you was consistent: The home page was cluttered, poorly organized, and hard to use. Photos were too small. Navigation was rarely helpful, and more.
And you were right.
Based on your feedback we’re launching a new home page today that we hope you’ll find faster and easier to use. A home page you’ll want to come back to throughout the day.
Our new home page features:
• Navigation that helps you quickly find the content you’re looking for
• A Latest Headlines area designed to help you keep current with breaking entertainment news
• A TV section that surfaces recaps of the latest shows, recommendations on what to watch, and tonight’s prime time schedule
• A review section that gets you the latest reviews – and our critics’ grades – of movies, TV shows, books and music in a single location.
There’s a lot more we’ve done in this redesign you’ll soon discover – and there is still more we are still working on we’ll be introducing later this summer.
But for now, welcome to the new home page of EW.Com.
