Anna Chlumsky, 'Veep' star, has baby girl and Emmy nom

It’s a twin celebration this month for Veep actress Anna Chlumsky.

The actress, 32, welcomed a baby girl, Penelope Joan So, last Thursday, according to People.

In addition, the star of ‘90’s movie My Girl, scored an Emmy nomination this week for her role as Amy Brookheimer on Veep.

“I’m still in shock. When I got the call, I wasn’t sleeping because I was breastfeeding my daughter,” she told People. “It was neat because it was me and my husband and my daughter all in the room getting the news at the same time. When [my manager] told me, it was that nervous, happy, appreciative laughter. I just laughed a lot! It feels really great to have your work noticed,” she added.
