Singer Chris Brown is thanking his lucky stars after hit-and-run charges against him were dismissed today.
According to CBS, a “civil compromise” was reached between the music superstar and the woman he struck. Brown allegedly rear-ended the victim on May 21 and left the scene without handing over his license and proper insurance information. TMZ reported that the L.A. City Attorney argued that, at the time, Brown was on felony probation (due to his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna), giving warrant to the charges.
Well, at least now he’ll have a clean(er) record for when he quits music.
