Silo saga ender 'Dust' is released

Dust

The third and final book in the Silo Saga has arrived: Dust was released over the weekend.

Following the success of Wool and the sequel Shift, author Hugh Howey has published the conclusion to his series about a future dystopian world. Haven’t yet heard of the sci-fi bestsellers? You might very soon:  20th Century Fox picked up the movie rights with director Ridley Scott and Steve Zaillian expressing interest in the film adaptation.

Here’s the summary of the first book: “In a ruined and toxic landscape, a community exists in a giant silo underground, hundreds of stories deep. There, men and women live in a society full of regulations they believe are meant to protect them. Sheriff Holston, who has unwaveringly upheld the silo’s rules for years, unexpectedly breaks the greatest taboo of all: He asks to go outside. “

The trilogy has quite the online fanbase, with fans clamoring over the series of e-novellas that Howey published before landing a deal with Simon & Schuster to turn them into books.
