'40 Days of Dating' film: Warner Bros. buys rights to viral website

40 Days Of Dating

One duo’s dating experiment is on track to become a date-night movie.

EW has confirmed that Warner Bros. recently acquired the screen rights to 40 Days of Dating, the popular blog in which good friends Jessica Walsh and Timothy Goodman give dating a try for 40 days and document the entire process. The “couple” told their story through videos and blogs, and now, their story is headed to the big screen. The Vow’s Michael Sucsy will direct the film, which will be written by Lorene Scafaria (Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist).
