Ratings were pretty soft. But ABC is bringing back summer soap Mistresses anyway.
The network confirms its picking up another run of the Alyssa Milano drama. The first batch averaged 5 million viewers and a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating including seven days of DVR, ranking 18th in the ratings for the summer, behind a slew of reality shows and scripted repeats.
ABC originally ran Mistresses against CBS’ high-powered Under the Dome, the scooted the show out of the way. Dome and NBC’s Hollywood Game Night are two other freshman summer survivors.
