All these newfangled technicolor music videos are overrated: For his latest clip, Amos Lee is going greyscale.

In the new lyric video for “Chill in the Air” — the Alison Krauss-featuring second single from his recent Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song — Lee borrowed footage a black-and-white “marriage training film” from 1950 called This Charming Couple. How quaint!

Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song is out now, and you can see Lee live on his current tour. This Friday’s show at Beacon Theater in New York is already sold out, but check out his official site for the newly expanded list of dates and venues he’ll be playing through March of next year.
