Joseph Gordon-Levitt has just tacked on “television host” to his already impressive résumé. The actor and director of Don Jon is streaming the first episode of his new variety show, HITRECORD ON TV, almost two weeks ahead of the show’s scheduled premiere on Pivot.

The first episode features the work of 426 contributing artists and centers on the theme “The Number One.” Watch it below:

Gordon-Levitt’s new variety show is an extension of the actor’s open-collaborative production company hitRECord, which uses video, music, literature, photography, performance, spoken word, screen writing, graphic art, and more from different artists around the world to produce a variety of projects ranging from short films and books to DVDs.

“I’m deeply proud of this show, and I think you’re reallllly gonna like it,” the actor wrote on YouTube. “Honestly, making this thing together with all the artists from around the world in our hitRECord community has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life so far.”

The eight-episode series premieres Jan. 18 on Pivot.
