Woody Allen asks 'New York Times' to publish his response to abuse claims

The New York Times might publish a piece by Woody Allen in response to Dylan Farrow’s open letter, the newspaper announced Wednesday. Allen asked the Times if he could write a response to his adopted daughter’s abuse allegations, and he was told to send it in.

It’s not clear if the piece will actually be published, as “it comes down to the editing process” whether or not it makes it, according to the Times’ editorial page editor, Andrew Rosenthal, who said Allen’s response could be published within the next few days.
