AMC’s Game of Arms wrestled up (down?) some record ratings for the cable network.
The arm-wrestling fight-club series premiere delivered 1 million viewers Tuesday night, marking the network’s most-watched unscripted series weeknight debut. The show’s tally included 626,000 adults 18-49.
Game of Arms is a look inside the competitive world of underground arm wrestling. The series follows the members of five regional arm wrestling clubs in five states as they “hit the road and wager their reputation, relationships and money for the sport.” Each episode features a regional match, leading to a tournament finale where the entire cast will compete for prize money and bragging rights.
