Thandie Newton and her husband, Ol Parker, have added a baby boy to their family – Booker Jombe. The couple have been married since 1998 and already have two daughters: Ripley, 13 and Nico, 9. The 41-year-old has been working hard despite the pregnancy, filming her police detective television show Rogue. Newton tweeted the good news from London Tuesday afternoon.
Our baby boy is finally here! Booker Jombe Parker. Born joyously at home yesterday

My 3rd home birth with brilliant independent midwife Caroline Flint - and Carole Goddard @PhoenixMidwives. Keep independent midwifery alive!

She had the baby at home with a midwife and I can’t get the picture of the midwives from The Mindy Project out of my head. (“That gong was a gift from me to myself for a particularly rough life.” – The midwife to Mindy.)
Daddy Ol Parker, a screenwriter and director, tweeted this cute note about the baby:
We had a baby, that’s a beautiful thing. He’s called Booker, and while he doesn’t do much yet, I suspect him to be awesome.
