Brice Johnston came onto Survivor: Cagayan wearing bright purple pants, but such attire was not the loudest thing about him. Even months after being eliminated from the show, Brice still has some choice words for his former Beauty tribe, and he shared those words when he called into Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM, channel 105) today to discuss his early exit. Whether he is blasting Alexis and Jefra for their lack of work ethic, slamming Jeremiah for…well, being Jeremiah, or just talking smack about everyone in general, Brice is ready to let her rip. And you can hear the rippage right here and right now on the InsideTV Podcast.
Brice also explains just how bad that rainstorm was, which players from other tribes he wanted to align with, and what surprised him most watching the season play back on TV. He also maintains the Beauty tribe wanted to get rid of him because he is the cutest member among them. So there’s that. But we start things off with another person trying to survive, The Walking Dead’s Lauren Cohan! The woman who pays Maggie Greene stopped by the studio to talk all about this Sunday’s upcoming episode, which includes a freaky fog scene in which Maggie, Bob, and Sasha can hear zombies, but can’t quite see them due to some poor visibility issues. Lauren also discusses Maggie’s search for Glenn, the revelation that came out the other week that they do, in fact, consider themselves married, and what it’s like being the only couple on the show. It’s a fun, freewheeling chat you will not want to miss.
Also on the menu is Minnie Driver…which, okay, sounds a bit weird — especially coming on the heels of discussing flesh-eating zombies. The point is, Minnie Driver also popped by the studio to discuss her delightful new NBC comedy About a Boy from Parenthood and Friday Night Lights showrunner Jason Katims. How is the TV show different from the book and the movie? And how is single mother Driver different from the single mom she plays on the show? (Answer: very.) Minnie tells all! Driver also mourns the loss of her criminally canceled other show, The Riches, while indulging my talk of her role as a Bond girl as well. Listen in, won’t you?
