The continued strength of The Big Bang Theory and the new comedy The Millers helped CBS to take Thursday in the key demo and viewers. Bang posted a 5.2 rating, up 4% from last week, which provided a sweet lead-in for The Millers (3.0, 11% from last week), according to Nielsen.

Even though The Crazy Ones at 9:30 tied its series low at 1.7, CBS still won the night in 18-49 with a 2.7 and with viewers (10.6 million).

ABC was second in the demo with a 2.1, thanks to the strength of the Shonda Rhimes drama block. Grey’s Anatomy earned a 2.6 and Scandal got a 2.8. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, however, tied its series low with a .8. Uffda.

Fox trailed in third — mostly due to the growing unpopularity surrounding Rake, which posted a mere .8 and 3.5 million. (That’s why its moving to Fridays). American Idol held steady in 18-49 (2.2) and viewers (9.7 million).

NBC trailed in fourth, with Parks & Rec and Parenthood posting the net’s best numbers for the night; they each earned a 1.2 rating and were up 9% versus the previous week. Community, in contrast, tied its series low by earning a 1.0, while Hollywood Game Night was down 8% to a 1.1.

Reign attracted some lookee-loos on the CW and ended up matching its series high in women 18-34 (1.0, up 25% from last week) while scoring its biggest audience (1.76 million) since Dec. 12. It was also up 40% (0.7) in adults 18-49 versus last week. The CW decided to present two versions of the episode — an on-air cut that meets broadcast content standards and an uncensored “too hot for TV” version that will stream exclusively online. Vampire Diaries was up 7% in viewers (2.18 million) and 11% among 18-49 (1.0) versus last week.
