The Triskelion may have fallen, but that’s not stopping Maria Hill from reporting for duty on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. As first reported by TVLine, EW has confirmed that How I Met Your Mother star Cobie Smulders will be returning as the no-nonsense former agent to help wrap up the ABC drama’s first season.

Smulder’s return comes on the heels of news that Samuel L. Jackson will also be reprising his role as Director Nick Fury in the season finale, despite his apparent death in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. We’re not exactly sure what this will mean for the series or how it will all connect — right now, Coulson and his team think Fury is dead, and when we last left Hill, she was preparing to take a job at Stark Industries following S.H.I.E.L.D.’s destruction. Given the team’s recent revelations, however, something tells me this isn’t a meeting where Hill complains about working with Tony Stark…

Smulders will appear in the episode set to air April 29. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesday nights at 8pm on ABC.
