Glee stars Lea Michele and Naya Rivera are at the center of the rumor mill today after reports surfaced that a supposed feud between the two led to Rivera being booted from the series’ upcoming fifth season finale – and off Glee’s sixth and final season entirely.

Well, Rivera’s camp is calling folly on the whole debacle, releasing this statement to EW: “Any reports or rumors circulating that Naya Rivera was let go or fired from Glee are absolutely untrue. End of story.”

The situation remains sticky as E! reported that Rivera’s character Santana Lopez has indeed been written off the May 13 season finale—though allegedly not because of anything to do with Michele.

Representatives for Glee declined to comment.
