The No. 1-rated daytime star is heading to primetime.

Judge Judy Sheindlin is getting a one-hour special chronicling her rise from New York Family Court Judge to Judge Judy. Airing May 20 on CBS, Judge Judy Primetime will focus on the peacemaker’s no-nonsense approach to justice, including some of her classic “Judyisms,” which have been parodied on Saturday Night Live and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The special will also include excerpts from the 1993 60 Minutes profile that helped Judge Sheindlin become a television star, and the program’s follow-up story, which aired 10 years later.

The syndicated, Emmy-winning Judge Judy premiered in 1996 and has been the No. 1 courtroom program in the U.S. since. It’s also an international hit, airing in more than 125 markets around the world.

Judge Judy Primetime airs May 20 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
