If you’re gonna rob a fast food restaurant, don’t do it like Tammy.
In the upcoming comedy Tammy, Melissa McCarthy plays the title character, a woman who goes on the run with her drunk grandmother after losing her job and unfaithful husband. McCarthy co-wrote the script with her real-life husband, Ben Falcone, who directed and appears in the comedy that features a foul-mouthed Susan Sarandon as McCarthy’s nana. In addition to McCarthy and Sarandon, the cast includes Kathy Bates, Allison Janney, Dan Akroyd and Toni Collette. Tammy opens in theaters July 2.
