The State, Tenacious D, Drunk History, Workaholics & more join Festival Supreme lineup

The State

Here’s some news you’ll wanna dip your… well, you know.

For those who didn’t get that reference: The State, a.k.a. the 11 comedians who collaborated on a seminal MTV sketch show in the ’90s, will reunite at this year’s Festival Supreme in Los Angeles. (Granted, this isn’t the first time the gang has gotten back together recently; most of The State stopped by Comedy Central’s @midnight in January.)

The one-day-only event, which invades the LA Sports Arena and Exposition Park on Oct. 25, will also include appearances by 39 other star-studded acts, including Jack Black and Kyle Gass’s Tenacious D, the Drunk History crew, the guys from Comedy Central’s WorkaholicsSNL alumni Fred Armisen and Bill Hader (and fellow former cast member Jenny Slate, though she’ll be performing separately), Scott Aukerman’s Comedy Bang! Bang!, and several big-name standups (Margaret Cho; Kumail Nanjiani; Janeane Garofalo, which means that Wet Hot American Summer prequel series might begin even sooner than we thought).

See below for the full lineup. Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 30 at 10 a.m. PT at Festival Supreme’s website.
