Bret Michaels was only three songs into his set at a New Hampshire show Thursday night when he had to be rushed offstage due to a medical emergency.

Michaels, known as the frontman of ’80s band Poison, suffers from Type 1 diabetes. His blood sugar got dangerously low at Thursday’s concert. “He basically had to be dragged off the stage in his sickest of conditions,” guitarist Peter Evick wrote on Michaels’ Facebook page.

Michaels is scheduled to perform a show in Pennsylvania Friday night and a show in New York Saturday night, but his team hasn’t yet released a statement about whether the concerts will be canceled.
