'The Signal': Laurence Fishburne gives Brenton Thwaites the third degree in a hazmat suit -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

The Signal

Something strange is happening in the Southwest.

When a group of road-tripping MIT students on the hunt for a mysterious hacker venture into a particularly isolated desert stretch, everything goes dark. Nic (played by The Giver’s Brenton Thwaites) eventually regains consciousness and finds himself bruised and disoriented. He’s a prisoner in a contained room, staring down a gravely serious, possibly menacing Laurence Fishburne. Also disconcerting? Fishburne is the only party in a protective hazmat suit.

Take a look at the ominous clip from director William Eubank’s stylish sci-fi mindbender after the jump.

The Signal, which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, hits theaters in limited release on June 13.
