From Homeland executive producer Howard Gordon comes the new drama Tyrant, which centers on Bassam “Barry” Al-Fayeed (Adam Rayner), an L.A. pediatrician who returns home to a Middle Eastern country with his wife (Jennifer Finnigan) and two kids (Anne Winters, Noah Silver) for a wedding.

Barry hasn’t been home, however, in 20 years—and his dad is the controversial dictator of this (fictional) country. And his brother is the troubled heir to the throne. And Barry may find himself wrapped up in the politics of this First Family in ways he was hoping to avoid.

In this scene from the series premiere, which airs tonight at 10 p.m. on FX, Barry winds up with an uncomfortable—or is that extremely comfortable?—surprise at the airport. Flight attendants, prepare for awkward family moment.
