New York's Prince Street subway station celebrates 'Purple Rain' anniversary

The second best thing to bathing in the purple rain? Taking a trip on New York City’s N/R train line today—so long as you board at Prince Street in SoHo. The station’s placard has an unusual embellishment in honor of Prince’s Purple Rain, which turns 30 years old today (but doesn’t look a day over 10):
